With a Thawte 128-Bit SuperCert certificate installed on your web server you will have the full protection of your SSL web server. Web Browsers exported from the US implemented only 40-bit and 56-bit encryption in the past, making sensitive information in transit more vulnerable to interception. These browsers are still today in wide spread use in the US and other countries. If you are not currently hosted with Omnetix you can still purchase the certificate from us and save! You will be required to generate your own Certificate Request and paste it on your SSL Certificate setup screen by using the SSL setup tool in My Account.

Please note that all information you provide through the purchase of this certificate will be verified by Thawte and this process may take up to a week or until all documentation verification is completed.

How Certification Works

After you have completed your SSL Certificate purchase through Omnetix, login My Account with your username and password. You will see your SSL certificate under "My Subscriptions". Clicking on the Setup link will allow you to provide all necessary information for the certification process to begin.
Generate a Certificate Signing Request on your server and copy & paste the request onto your SSL Setup screen in My Account.
Provide all necessary corporate information and contact personnel and click on Certify.
Typically within 7 days if everything is in order you will have your SSL certificate ready.
